· Mid June- Early July
· Eat them raw with dips.
· Delicious in stir- fries or as a cooked vegetable.
· Keep unshelled, unwashed peas for 4- 5 days in the refrigerator.
· Peas are rich in vitamins A and C thiamine, riboflavin, and potassium.
HOW TO FREEZE PEAS:
Wash. Remove stems and strings; leave whole. Blanch for 2 minutes. Cool immediately in cold water, package, and freeze.
