Planning To Pick

Strawberry Season at Greg’s U-Pick Farm will begin on June 13, 2026. Our fields will open at 9:00 A.M. and be open for entry until 4:00 P.M. OR picked out. The farm closes at 5:00 P.M. Tuesday - Saturday and 3:00 on Sunday.

Please visit our Facebook page or call us at 716-741-4239 for current picking conditions before heading out to the farm. Availability and weather can affect picking daily.

Prepare to pick with us by bringing your own containers or making plans to purchase containers on the farm! We do our best to maintain our fields, but when visiting, enter our fields at your own risk and be sure to watch for holes, stumps, wet grass, and tripping hazards. We want to keep our guests safe.

How it Works

Thank you for choosing to pick with Greg's! We cannot wait to welcome you to the farm. All guests must CHECK IN upon arrival to the farm at the designated CHECK IN HERE location. Guests may bring containers to pick into or may source them on the farm. To enter our picking fields, all guests will purchase a “Pickin Pass," or a pass that allows for entry into the picking fields.

Passes are purchased during each visit - Season Pass Offers Available!

We remind all guests that you will purchase a “Pickin Pass” to enter the field even if you do not choose to pick, but just accompany a picker.

Picking Pass

Upon arrival at the farm, please check in at the designated CHECK IN HERE location to learn more about what is being picked and pass options for picking, playing, or both!

CSA Members: As part of the Greg’s U-Pick Farm CSA experience, members receive complimentary picking passes that allow access to U-Pick fields and seasonal activities throughout the growing season. These passes are included with your share and help you make the most of your time on the farm.

Season Pass:Experience the best of the growing season with Greg’s Season Pass! From the first sweet strawberries of summer to the final pumpkins of fall, this pass gives your family unlimited access to Greg’s U-Pick Farm throughout the 2026 season. Explore our picking fields filled with strawberries, blueberries, vegetables, flowers, watermelons, and pumpkins while enjoying the barnyard area during regular operating hours, Back 40 Events are also open to passholders. Customers purchase what they pick with this pass.

U-Pick Field Access:

Enjoy entry to the farm’s U-Pick fields during picking seasons, including strawberries, blueberries, vegetables, flowers, and fall pumpkins.

Grab a Pick & Play Pass to gain access to the Pickin’ fieds and Barnyard Play Spaces.

Strawberries

Blueberries

Season | Mid July - Mid August

Our blueberry fields are typically open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and Sunday from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., with final field entry one hour before close. The fields are closed on Mondays. Picking conditions vary daily based on weather and availability, so please check our social media pages or call the farm at 716-741-4239 before visiting.

We grow three varieties of blueberries on eight acres of well-maintained, irrigated fields. Netting is used to protect the berries from birds and to make picking easier. The first three weeks of the season are typically the best for picking, so we encourage visitors to come early

Blueberry Freezing Tips

Use fresh, completely dry blueberries for freezing
You may rinse first, but dry thoroughly before freezing
Store in resealable plastic bags or freezer-safe containers
Use frozen berries within 10 months for the best flavor
Frozen berries work well in oatmeal, yogurt, smoothies, shakes, or sauces

Berry Blue Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:

2 cups fresh or slightly thawed blueberries
1 six-ounce container of low-fat yogurt
1 cup fruit juice (orange or pineapple)
1 tablespoon honey, sugar, or maple syrup to taste

Preparation:

Place blueberries, yogurt, fruit juice, and sweetener in a blender
Blend until smooth
Serve immediately

Raspberries

Season | Mid-August - Early October

Our raspberry fields are open to guests of all ages. We grow two acres of fall-bearing red raspberries, including three varieties: Polka, Caroline, and Himbo Top. Picking conditions vary daily based on weather and availability, so please check our social media pages or call the farm at 716-741-4239 before visiting.
